It didn’t take long, but the advanced analytics reporting code has been added to the command line reporter version of Kontrollbase. Click here to see an example of the tuning and analytics report output (html format). Now you have all of the reporting features (minus the growth over time) features that are offered in the full application of Kontrollbase but in a quick command line run script that is portable to any Linux/Unix server you need to run MySQL reports on. You can also get reports in XML and TXT format. Analytics are generated in a CSV format just like the analytics export feature in the webapp – this way you can track your analytics in a spreadsheet if needed (just copy/paste).

This was added in revision 275. I’ll be posting an updated full release today as well – but if you are so inclined you can checkout the new version via subversion (svn update).
