Interesting question. Kontrollsoft is a formal site/name for releasing my software to the public. I personally do database administration and engineering, systems engineering for Linux/BSD systems, and write lots of automation software for each of those roles. At times I either do consulting or work for a formal company, depending on what my resume says I am doing at the time in question.

Kontrollsoft is a non-profit company that gives back to the opensource community, nothing more. I have been employed via consulting work to install and manage large Kontrollbase installations for companies but that is billed via my consulting service and is not related to profit from the software, but payment based on the time it takes me to setup/manage the application.
