the function config_connect of kontroll-alerter perl script looks for config.cfg that doesnt exists… i replace this with the function at kontroll-reportere ant works


the system/log directory, or at least the sys_debug an sys_error files must have write permissions for kontroller user, you could add this to the installation guide


the installation script doesn works with dollar symbol ($) in the password, you could fix this writing the password inside single quotes (in php “$mypassword” is a variable, '$mypassword' is ok)


the kontroll-server_loop perl script just wait 5 seconds for a response (line 125), maybe this timeout could be configurable, in our servers the “Polling time” take more than 25 seconds..
