VMware Appliance .ova is not able to run on vmware.
.ova format not able to support.
Any one know how should i run.

The virtual appliance was exported directly from VMware ESXi 3.5 – if you want to use it with another vmware application you have to use their converter, which is free: http://www.vmware.com/products…..converter/

Also to note the appliance available for download is a rather old version – I recommend you upgrade Kontrollbase (via installing it over the existing one) once you have the appliance running. A new version of the appliance will be out in the future but is not on the immediate timeline.

short question.
Currently VMware Appliance is avaliable only for 64 bit machine which have build using CentOS 5.2.
Is 32bit VMware Applianceis avaliabe?
Actually I want test on my laptop before moving to prod.

There will be in the future but there is currently only the 64bit version. As a solution you can install Kontrollbase the usual way on your 32bit VM.
